14 Bible Verses on the Love of Christ for Valentine's Day

February 03, 2022
14 Bible Verses on the Love of Christ for Valentine's Day

Just in time for Valentine's Day I wanted to share 14 bible verses to help you focus on the love of Christ. I know typically when we talk about Valentine's Day, we discuss relationship love.

Don't feel like reading, watch the video

But instead of focusing on relationships I wanted to focus on the love of Christ. The constant never changing love of Christ Jesus. There is no greater love than the love of Christ.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV

If you have ever read any book in the Old Testament, you begin to recognize the significance of Christ. The Old Testament will help you have more gratitude for Christ.

You should praise him for freeing is from being governed by the law. You now are governed by grace because of the crucifixion of Christ.

Reading from the Old Testament and New Testament helps you appreciate the gift of salvation we were granted through Jesus Christ. God's love and Christ's love is exemplified by his sacrifice.

Take a moment to meditate on this, Christ was free of sin. But Christ was willing to pay the ultimate price of death on the cross for our sins.

Christ Jesus died so that we may one day experience eternal life and return to our Lord Elohim. The death of Christ says a lot about the love he has for each one of us.

If you enjoy this post, you may find these Bible Study blog posts helpful when it comes to reading the bible as a beginner:

Christ Jesus death also speaks to the love God has for each one of us. God gave his only son so that we may have a chance at eternal life.

How much God must love us to sacrifice his perfect child. If you are a parent, think about if you would be willing to sacrifice your child for others.

I don't know about you. But my answer as a parent of two kids. Would surely be no. There is just no one on this earth that I would be willing to sacrifice my child for.

If you think about if Jesus were your child and you were making the decision to sacrifice them. Then you understand the magnitudes of God's sacrifice.

Even if you don't read the entire bible reading plan, I encourage you to take a moment to read a few of the verses. I want to challenge you to cherish these verses and be grateful for the love of Christ this Valentine's Day.

14 Bible Verses on the Love of Christ for Valentine's Day

12 Promises of God for 2022

January 20, 2022
12 Promises of God for 2022

It has been way too long since I put pen to paper or thumbs to my cell phone screen. Between the Etsy shop, YouTube, and life I have not had much time to write.

Which is unfortunate since writing is my passion. It’s actually the second driving force behind my stationery shop.

For a long time in 2021 I had not written anything out of fear. I was afraid my writing was insufficient. Fearful of my grammar and spelling errors being seen all over the World Wide Web. Fear that I didn’t have anything new to say or offer.

But I'm back. Satan knows how to play on our insecurities. Man does he know how to play me like a fiddle.

God placed it in the spirit to explore his promises this year. I searched the internet and was overwhelmed by what I found. There are so many promises of God, I decided to pair it down to 12.

I thought it would be great if we could dive into 1 of the promises each month in our email tribe for January 2022. If you haven’t subscribed, join the tribe if you're interested in weekly faith-based encouragement and Chellbee Shop sales.

If you enjoy this post, you may find these Bible Study blog posts helpful when it comes to reading the bible as a beginner:

A lot of my good friends are members of the email tribe and I have made some great new friends through our email tribe as well. We are 1500+. I purged the list so if you stopped getting weekly emails your email was likely removed.

In 2022, one of my spiritual goals is to deepen my relationship with the Trinity Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God. The more I read the more I realize how important it is to differentiate between the 3.

If you are looking to learn more about the Holy Spirit, LIVING WITH THE ADVANTAGE: How To Successfully Navigate Life With Holy Spirit As Your Competitive Edge And Best Friend, this is a great book that will help your spiritual growth.

12 Promises of God for 2022

  2. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
  3. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
  4. The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand. Psalm 37:23-24
  5. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29
  6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
  7. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. James 1:5
  8. No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
  9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
  10. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36
  11. For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15

10 things that God say I am

April 07, 2021
21 days of verses to remind you who you are. affirmations | encouragement verses scriptures | faith verses scriptures encouragement | #bible #bibleverse #encouragement #redeemed #blessed #strong #beloved

All so often on this blog I create resources on this blog to help me in my own spiritual journey. Every time you all respond or visit these post often I am so surprised.

This post is just a simple reminder of who God says you are. Though this post was originally published in April 25, 2019 it is one of my most popular blog post. I'm thrilled to have confirmation that I am not the only one who needs the reminder.

During this COVID-19 pandemic I found myself needing these reminder even more. There were so many unknown when the crisis began and I still think there is a lot of information we will not know for years to come. Which is why I found myself leaning on this verses from Psalm 91.
Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge— no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. Psalm 91: 9-10 ESV
I pray that during this pandemic you and your family are safe, healthy, and creating a stronger relationship with Christ.

I often remind myself of the plagues, famine, and violence that occurred in the bible and it helps me to remember that I should not be surprise or afraid. If God was with Habakkuk during the invasion by the Chaldean people. He is with us.

There is nothing that we experience on this earth that is a surprise to God. Even more than that there is nothing that occurs that is out of his control.

We just need to wait and trust his timing. Because he will resolve it, that is just the God we serve. A God of perfect timing, mercy, and resolution.

If you are like me and still need a daily reminder that you can carry with you. Then order your Who God says I am scripture card set, 24 cards set with affirmation, scriptures, and prayers.

I am forever thankful for the encouragement from the word, especially on dreary, tough, or chaotic days. Being able to clearly and quickly read how God sees us. Helps us to reaffirms God's word.

This is a reminder that we are worthy children of the Highest God. In times when you're in need of validation, I pray these words to give your life purpose. Because there is no shame in needing a reminder.

I pray these verses to uplift your spirit. God willing it speaks to the part of your soul that needs to hear it most.

Do you ever feel like every step you take in the right direction something pulls you back? After a while, it's just tiring. You start to feel like man maybe I should just give up.

It makes you start to question your God-given purpose. Maybe this isn't what God has for me after all. I once heard someone say that Satan loves to attack you because He knows the calling God has on your life.

When I heard it, it moved me. But currently, as I sit here looking to return to work full time. And feeling like all the odds are stacked against me. That saying ain't doing much for me.

I'm like God where are you. Are you even here with me? Because just like you during hard times I often feel alone. What is it about trials and tribulations?

Grab your Encouraged Devotional and Journal now!

Tribulations always seem to make you feel as though no one understands what your going through.

That solitude or feeling of being alone is when you're most vulnerable to attacks from Satan. If you allow yourself to sit in that feeling for too long. You will begin to believe it.

Satan knows it. Satan knows if he can get you to believe that you are alone. And that no one has your back. Then he has you right where he wants you.

You will be more susceptible to doing things his way  You'll stop praying, reading your bible, and going to church.

If you enjoy this post, you may find these bible study blog posts helpful when it comes to finding strength in Christ.

And that's exactly what he wants because when your armor comes down. You will fall victim to sin and the temptations of the flesh.

It's that moment where you start to think what's the point of doing right. When things keep going wrong anyways.

Women's Bible Study Video Series | Blemished but Beautiful

October 15, 2020

I am so excited to share this women's bible study videos series which we decided to title Blemished but Beautiful Notable Women of the Bible. If you have followed my blog for a while then you know that all of my content is a result of things I need.

The idea to create this series was because I really wanted to bible study and fellowship with someone I could learn from. I just recently found a church home in May of 2019.

But like so many of you, our church doors have closed due to COVID-19. Unfortunately I haven't done to well with attending virtual/phone services.

Although I have a personal bible study routine I was missing that fellowship and opportunity to speak with others about what I am reading in the bible. Which prompted me to reach out to Cassandre Brissot because she has proven to be a women of God.

We have developed a great friendship over the last year and she is always filled with so much biblical wisdom when we speak. I approached her about doing a women's bible study video series and she said yes despite not having a YouTube channel.

If you are looking to study the life of women in the bible - Blemished but Beautiful Bible Study series - is for you! I pray that you will consider watching the series and learning from these beautiful women of the bible. But to be honest I would love it if you would read the women's bible study plan.

In each video we will be sharing the reading that accompanies the women bible study topic we will be discussing. So please feel free to pause the video, do your reading, come back and watch, and comment on the video on what you learned.

Let's make this a true fellowship! We all have to start somewhere and no one is expecting you to be a bible scholar believe me I am not a scholar.

Just a women chasing after God and sharing what I am learning in hopes of encouraging another women to open her bible.

The Blemished but Beautiful women's bible study video series begins on October 15. If your reading this late, don't worry the video's are still posted and you can jump in when you ready. But don't wait!

Cassandre and I will be sharing lessons from women in the bible. For the month of October we will be discussing Leah, Hannah, and Ruth.

Be sure to subscribe because we will be returning in December or January to discuss Rachel, Zipporah, Abigail, and Deborah. Who knows if you all respond well and truly enjoy the series this could become a regular women's bible study video series.

10 Bible Verses for a Healing Heart

August 02, 2017

As of lately it feels like our family is going through the trials of Job. I have been trying to keep to myself about it because I find that when I talk openly about what I'm going through I just find myself soaking. That's the opposite of what I need in this moment.

But everything in me is telling me to share as I struggle. I know I'm not alone. But Lord knows this is not easy for me in the least.

If you can please pray for my family. I'm trying to be more honest and real with you in 2019. Life isn't always picture perfect - at least not for me.

But what even in all that we're going through I still believe that we are am blessed. I recognize there is always someone going through a more difficult time.

Maybe they haven't yet found the salvation that lies in Christ. Or maybe their basic needs often go unmet. No matter what there struggle maybe. I recognize I have a lot to be thankful for.
I love the Lord , because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. Psalms 116:1‭-‬2 ESV

Every moment where I find myself feeling weak. I just pray. I remind myself of His promises. I ask Him to enlarge my faith.

Watch the Everything is going to be ok Morning Coffee with Chellbee full video!

In the midst of fasting and prayer the Holy Spirit moved me to read Psalm 116. I kid you not I just about fell out of my seat. I just couldn't believe God was speaking to me so clearly.

I was so humbled recognizing that he was talking me. The ship wreck of a mess that I am. I'm often super composed in the midst of chaos. But on the inside I'm usually falling apart.

My spirit is weeping. My soul is weary. And the only thing holding me up physically is the strength I have found in the word - I kid you not.

I know this test has a purpose. I already see the change that it has had on my family. And for that I am beyond grateful.
