Day 29 Romans 15:1-21
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13 ESV
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, may I never forget the power of scripture. Please grant me the endurance and encouragement of your word. When I am weak surround me with those whose faith is strong. When I am strong may I be the support system for those whose faith is weak. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Day 30 Romans 15:22-33
I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf. Romans 15:30 ESV
Day 31 Romans 16
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Romans 16:20 ESV
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I just come to you praying thay you give us all the strength to overcome the desires od our flesh. Help us to not be self centered, self serving, and manipulative beings. But to instead strive to be more like Christ in every area of our life. Loving one another, serving one another, and caring about the good of others more than ourselves. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
Thank you so much for joining the #fr33Challenge! Much love and many blessings, Chellbee

1. I've been working on memorizing different Psalms lately, in 2 weeks i've gotten 5 down. I'm working on another now. Most of these Psalms are commonly read and known but not until I tried memorizing them did I truly grasp the meaning. For example Psalms 23 and 91 are insanely powerful when you take in what it is you're reciting to God.
ReplyDelete2. One thing I do is confess the truth, Christ did a perfect and complete work on the cross, He stripped the enemy of his authority over me. He has no authority over any area of my life, I then confess the truth about God that He is sovereign. Nothing happens outside of God's power, also God uses everything for the good of those who are called. So if the enemy can't harm me because every hair on my head is accounted for I confess God is in control. I praise God for His protection and His perfect will that cannot be superseded. Also there are a few Psalms I read when I feel attacked: 3, 144, 91*, 56, 35*, 62, 27* (I pray these Psalms and ask God for His protection). And always read my bible, The shield of faith is our only defensive weapon, it extinguishes the fiery darts and flaming arrows. Our Offensive weapon is the sword of the Spirit; with the word I cut down the lies of the enemy
I really enjoyed this video about the digital prayer wall but may I ask how do you use your prayers once you've written them down? Should you be praying that prayer everyday, multiple times a day, not changing it until you feel God has answered you in regards to that prayer?
DeleteHey Cassandre, I will have to look at Psalms 23 & 91. I'm currently working on 2 Timothy 1:7 & Luke 1:37. Scripture def hits you different when your memorizing it.
DeleteWell said! There is not stronger weapon again the enemy than the bible. You are so right, no the enemy has no standing over our lives. God is always in control.
I love my digital prayer wall. I don't always use it everyday. But I love having it as a reference and foundation when I'm experiencing difficult times. Most of my prayer wall is ever green like prayers for family, identity, and forgiveness. There are periods were I pray it every day or multiple times a day. It really just depends on what I'm experiencing.
But most of all it helps me during those tough times when I just can't think of the words to say to the Lord.
do you have any thoughts about being specific in prayer. I keep hearing that as a key point to prayer but I don't think I'm specific enough
DeleteWhen it comes to being specific during prayer its almost like confession. I think it's stressed because sometimes we skirt around asking God for what we need. Like instead of saying God give me a prosperous writing career that provides for my family so I don't have to look for work outside the home. I'll say Lord please let your will prevail. I realized it's the fear that's keeps me from being specific. Fear that if I ask Him and I don't receive it how will that effect my faith. Or will I be able to continue writing if God gives me a answer that doesn't match what I prayer for.
