6 Simple Ways to be Happier

What do you think you need to be happier? Some people would say they need ‘stuff’ and lots of it. New clothes, the latest gadgets, a huge house. However, this isn’t the right way to go about making ourselves happy. Happiness actually comes from the simple things in life. It comes from the things we do each day that we make a habit of.


In fact, by making sure you do a few simple things every day, you can make sure you feel happier.

Meditate

If we all learned to meditate at a young age, the crime rate would go down, education results would improve, and the world would see so many more positive benefits that it wouldn’t quite know what’s hit it. Even if you didn’t learn to meditate as a child, it’s not too late to do so. Meditation can be done for just 5 minutes each day, and it can help you to feel like you have more control over your schedule. The busier you are, the more the need for meditation!

Take Mental Health Issues More Seriously

Mental health needs to be taken as seriously as physical health. Just because you can’t see a problem, doesn’t mean it’s not there. You need to make sure you’re nurturing your mental health. Meditation will help with this, but you also need to make sure you're taking other acts of self care. Look after yourself. Give yourself time to relax and do what you enjoy. Learn how to de-stress!

Take The Right Vitamins And Supplements

Vitamins and supplements can help to make you healthier and happier. While you should definitely focus on getting the right vitamins from your food, you can also take supplements to help ensure you’re getting everything you need. There’s something out there for you whether you need a simple boost with a multivitamin or more testosterone with something like Tongkat Ali. Just make sure you always purchase from a reputable retailer and read reviews first. You should see your doctor also to ensure you stay safe!



Online Detoxes

Be honest with yourself about how much time you spend online. Most of us spend unhealthy amounts of time surfing the web. Aim for an online detox by minimizing the amount of time you use your smartphone. You should find that the rest of your senses sharpen up!

Declutter Our Lives

Decluttering your life can be a very freeing experience. Often, we don’t realize that the junk we own is weighing us down. Have a big clear out, and then aim to stay on top of it by getting rid of something you don’t need most days.

Exercise For 7 Minutes


You don’t have to spend hours in the gym to be happier. In fact, all you need to do is exercise for 7 minutes to feel the benefits! Do a quick circuit or a few sprints, and you should get the same endorphin rush. Who doesn’t have 7 minutes to spare out of their day?
